About Author
The author of this book is a Commercial artist, entrepreneur, YouTuber (Sonal’s Art Nouveau), and a fine art teacher based in Mumbai. Over a span of 10 years, the author has mentored more than 700 students aged between 3 yrs to 60 years. The author is a versatile hobby artist trained in distinct painting types such as Madhubani, Kalamkari, Warli, Kerela Murals, Miniature, Egyptian Coffee painting, One Stroke painting, portraits, Water colour Landscape paintings etc. She experiments with different media such as charcoal, soft pastels, acrylic paint, oil paint, oil pastels, water colours, poster colours etc. She has experience of teaching over 100 students for elementary/intermediate grade drawing exams conducted by Government of Maharashtra. She also conducts Art summer camps and Corporate workshops on Hobby Painting. The author is on in mission to help people live a happy and stress-free life by introducing Art and painting in their lives in the form of a hobby. This book is one such endeavour in this direction.
